Lockheed Martin Electronic Test Technician/Inspector B - Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking to hire an Electrical Test Technician/Inspector B in Grand Prairie, TX.

The selected candidate will be expected to perform or assist lower classified personnel in the performance of, product verifications and inspections using a wide variety techniques including visual examination, dimensional

measurement, electronic meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum and logic analyzers, environmental chambers, hydraulic/pneumatic test equipment and

recording and sensing devices.

In addition, other responsibilities will include:

-Performing tests and verifications to the requirements of

specifications, procedures, drawings, work

instructions, industry standards or other

contractually required documents.

-Performing tests and associated inspections required to support testing and product acceptance when performing

as a member of a test cadre.

-Performing general and periodic surveillance of work and associated storage areas.

-Suggesting improvements in task performance methods, equipment, and safety practice.

-Maintaining effective liaison with all related departments and customer representatives to achieve product schedules within budget targets.

-Handling, utilizing, maintaining and storing equipment in a manner to prevent damage, abuse, or neglect and maintain its serviceability.

-Originating and maintaining required records and logs utilizing software for storage when available.

-Keeping work area clean and orderly.

-Reading and interpreting complicated schematic diagrams and blueprints.

This position will require the use of advanced shop math to test, repair and calibrate, product electronic equipment.

It will also require knowledge of electronics both in theory

and practice. The candidate must pass required certifications.

Basic Qualifications:

-Requires the use of shop math and specialized knowledge of electronic, wiring soldering methods, and testing instruments requiring knowledge of electronics both in theory and practice, and must pass required certifications.

- High school degree or equivalent is required.

- Must have a final Secret security clearance

- Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift

according to the collective bargaining agreement

-Must have the ability to work overtime as

required.

Desired Skills:

- 6 months to 1 year of experience in electrical

inspection of printed wiring assembly, cable,

harness, and PWA inspection.

- Two to three years trades training.

- Prior experience with J-STD-001.

- Prior experience with Electrical Assembly.

- Prior experience with System integration

testing.

- Strong and proven communication skills –

written and verbal.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel,

PowerPoint).

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
