Lockheed Martin Integration & Test Engineer Intern - Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking an Integration and Test (I&T)Engineer Intern to support systems integration and test activities in Grand Prairie, TX.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute Sub-System/System Level Integration Plans and Procedures,
Support preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events,
Support test readiness preparation and test readiness reviews,
Support ground and flight test events as required.
This position requires the ability to work onsite in Grand Prairie. Additional responsibilities include coordinating test events with other functional organizations.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelors degree in systems or software engineering or related discipline such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
Desired Skills:
The following are desired skills and capabilities for Systems Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:
Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.
Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.
Assure that system built-in performance has been achieved from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.
Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with software engineers, designers, and production personnel.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
