Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support the Product Development and Rapid Response (PDRR) manufacturing shop. PDRR handles a wide variety of scope including quick turn manufacturing parts, 1st time builds for development programs and low quantity prototype runs. Parts can range from basic to complex and the build schedules required are generally aggressive.

This position requires a self-motivated individual to receive requests, evaluate feasibility, create manufacturing plans and manage the execution of part manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. Being able to build relationships and work in collaborative environment with other disciplines is essential.

Basic Qualifications:

• General knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes

• Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Bachelor's degree in an associated engineering or technical discipline

• Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with being a team player

Desired Skills:

• Manufacturing background with shop floor experience

• SAP experience

• Experience evaluating drawings for manufacturability and providing feedback to design engineering

• Proven process improvement experience

• Root cause / corrective action experience

• Leadership and team management skills with adaptability to dynamic shop support needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
