Lockheed Martin Material Handler - CDL A Driver in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: You will be a Material Handler/CDL A Driver for the Operations team. Our team is responsible for efficiently transporting materials throughout the plant and in the DFW area, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and projects.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Material Handler/CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of material handling duties, including loading, unloading, and transporting heavy materials. You will play a critical role in supporting our operations team, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating various types of vehicles, including forklifts, flatbeds, and tow trucks

• Delivering and picking up materials internally and externally

• Maintaining records of service tickets and inventories of equipment

• Using wireless tablets to status and complete move tickets daily

• Verifying material transportation with proper paperwork and compliance with regulations

• Maintaining a Commercial Driver's License class A (CDL) and adhering to all relevant regulations

Basic Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.

• At least one year of related experience.

• Class A CDL required.

• Must have the ability to drive manual and automatic tractor trailers.

• Material handling equipment operation and forklift experience.

• Must have hazardous materials endorsement.

• Must have the ability to work 1st or 2nd shift according the collective bargaining agreement.

• Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
