Lockheed Martin Mechanical Design Engineer Senior in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for our innovative team. Our team is responsible for developing cutting-edge technology solutions, and we're looking for a talented engineer to help package our latest advancements into tactical configurations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and packaging innovative technologies into tactical configurations, utilizing your expertise in CREO to drive project success. You will work closely with technical leadership, but also be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Designing and developing mechanical packaging solutions for cutting-edge technologies

Utilizing CREO to create and modify designs

Collaborating with technical leadership to receive guidance and feedback

Working independently to drive project progress and meet deadlines

Obtaining and maintaining necessary security clearances, including TS/SCI and SAP access

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Highly proficient with PTC Creo

Ability to rapidly and accurately develop complex CAD models

Active Secret with investigation within or CV date within 5 years and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance is required

Desired Skills:

Ability to perform structural FEA

Experience with mechanical design of RF devices such as antennas and related components

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
