Lockheed Martin Mechanical Design Engr Associate Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description:
You will be the Mechanical Design Associate Engineering and Technology Manager (ETM) for our Engineering and Technology team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing the HIMARS system, working closely with program leads, chief engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve hardware issues in a fast-paced production environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Design Associate ETM, you will be responsible for providing mechanical design engineering support for HIMARS manufacturing and production activities, while also leading a team of approximately 10 direct reports. You will coordinate technical responses to production issues, manage changes to the Technical Data Package, and develop 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Providing mechanical design engineering support for HIMARS manufacturing and production activities

•Managing changes to the Technical Data Package and developing 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing plans
•Leading a team of approximately 10 direct reports, providing technical coaching and mentoring, and supporting employee development
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Program Management

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering experience, preferably including task planning, budget management, subcontract management, and/or employee development and mentoring.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including diplomatic issue resolution.
Creo/Windchill experience and skills. -Component/assembly design experience.
GD&T fluency.
Tolerance analysis capability.
Desired Skills:
Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
