Lockheed Martin New Business Funds Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: **Work locations are Orlando, FL or Grand Prairie, TX only**

You will be a New Business Funds Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Strategic Planning. Our team is responsible for shaping the company's future by leveraging analytical skills, strategic thinking, and team leadership experience to inform resourcing and allocation decisions for strategic investments.

What You Will Be Doing

As New Business Funds Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the annual MFC NBF Allocation Process

• Manage the current year NBF plan by reviewing and approving MFC NBF projects for compliance and alignment to the MFC and Strategic Campaign Strategy

• Perform analysis for MFC Sr. Leadership to strategically manage MFC investment portfolio and facilitate reallocations during in-year execution.

• Deliver monthly NBF status for MFC Leadership

• Manage training for the NBF stakeholder community

• Maintain Command Media regarding MFC’s NBF processes

• Facilitate MFC’s Independent Validation Team

• Serve as the focal point for MFC investment data inclusive of historical / future investments and financial data

• Support the development of the MFC Technology Strategy with Engineering & Technology leadership and integrate into the MFC Strategic Plan

• Leverage analysis of Customer funding trends and technology assessments to inform MFC investment decisions

• Develop and implement best practices and explore cross-BA IRAD collaboration opportunities where applicable

• Interface with Corporate Engineering & Technology (CE&T) on Technology Investment Strategy, and NBF process and information tools.

• Support MFC Engineering and Technology’s periodic IRAD review process.

• Coordinate and align MFC Capital Planning as it relates to NBF investments

• Support the Legal Department with MFC Intellectual Property strategy and the review process / award council

• Coordinate and support cross-Business Area IRAD reviews, meetings, and strategy

• Lead Government and internal audits of our NBF process as required

• Lead or support ad-hoc assignments to support Strategic Planning Senior Leadership

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- Appropriate Business or Technical degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university

- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal—at the executive and working level, with the ability to present complex ideas and analysis to non-technical stakeholders

- Understanding of the IRAD & B&P process and impact to the business

- Experience managing cost, schedule and quality for complex processes or programs

- Microsoft Office Suite; advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint

- Knowledge and experience with databases and decision support tools

- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools

-Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

-Infrequent travel required (3-6 times a year)

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of MFC products, served market, and customer missions

- Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience

- Familiarity with MFC’s NBF Allocation and Management processes and tools (including MFC Bridge, Opportunity Hub, E-TIP)

- Green belt training or certification

- Experience in facilitating discussions and group decisions

- Experience working with strong personalities and executives with professionalism

- Strong business acumen

-Experience with querying and manipulating large data sets and using advanced analysis and scripting tools and languages (i.e. Python, R, JMP, MATLAB, etc.)

- Experience working with high uncertainty and frequently conflicting data sources

- Team leadership experience

- Technical background/degree

- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
