Lockheed Martin Price Cost Analyst / Dallas or Orlando in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: As a Price Cost Analyst , you will be responsible for complex supplier proposals within the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) division of Lockheed Martin (LM). Responsibilities include:

Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.

Confer daily with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price.

Prepare reports and charts that present findings. In this role you are responsible to negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.

Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties.

Plan and participate in training of Price / Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques to company personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Ability to perform and apply cost accounting, pricing, and estimating concepts and principles.

Ability to conduct fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of key cost indicators.

Ability to comprehensively review all elements of cost including direct labor, material, ODC and indirect costs in compliance with FAR, DFARS, GAP and LM procedures.

Ability to review Supplier proposals for Compliance with FAR and LM requirements.

Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements, with a strong working knowledge of FAR Part 15.

Ability to utilize analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings.

Ability to meet deadlines in a challenging, multi-tasking environment.

Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Work, and PowerPoint.
