Description: You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the Launcher Aftermarket Enterprise Program team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products, and implementing quality standards and methods to support supplier, compliance, and manufacturing areas.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for providing quality engineering expertise to support the program's quality objectives, leveraging your experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures. You will play a critical role in analyzing and resolving process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
-Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging
-Leading program parts review and corrective action meetings
-Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance
-Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology
-Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
-Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above.
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Electrical, mechanical or quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test, inspection methods and work instructions
Hands on experience dealing with inspection of hardware and rework/repair of hardware
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools
Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
SAP Application experience
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
Demonstrated presentation skills
Ability to travel
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Prior Quality Engineering experience
Desired Skills:
Special Process Engineering experience
Experience with use of manufacturing, inspection gages or measuring equipment
AS9100 interpretation, application experience, and compliance auditing
Experience working with Government customers and suppliers in a sustainment environment
Thorough knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations
Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
Experience developing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
