Description: You will be the Administrative Assistant Sr for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for supporting the Applied Research Director and the Technology & Innovation Director, and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Administrative Assistant Sr, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to our directors, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of documents and presentations. You will also coordinate travel, meetings, and special events, and maintain sensitive departmental files.

Your responsibilities will include:

•Creating and editing presentations, documents, and reports

•Making travel arrangements and submitting expense reports

•Coordinating meetings and appointments

•Organizing special events and protocol for VIPs

•Maintaining departmental files, including sensitive data

•Administering training plans

Basic Qualifications:

Prior experience supporting executive-level management

This position requires the ability to obtain a secret security clearance

Advanced computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite

Demonstrated experience performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties

Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; screening callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail

Demonstrated ability to multi-task

Effective time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and quickly adjust to changing priorities. Prior experience with making / changing domestic and international travel, meeting arrangements, and expense reports.

Attention to detail

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal with executive level contacts both within and outside of Lockheed Martin

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with Concur Travel System

Experience working with Lockheed Martin

Missiles & Fire Control

Experience with the process for requesting/obtaining USG passports and Visas

Secret clearance

Coordination of Facilities and Information/Telecom/Computer support for the team

Arrangement and scheduling of complex, multi-site meetings with multiple senior executives

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
