Lockheed Martin Supplier Quality Engineer Asc. - Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a motivated and driven Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Associate for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX.

Responsibilities include:

-Application of quality principles in the areas of design, incoming material inspection, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, as they apply to products and quality processes.

-Development of strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.

-Participating in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) decisions and corrective / preventive action activities.

-Performing special process assessments and audits procedures to ensure compliance to technical specifications, and ISO-9001 / AS9100 Industry standards.

-Ensuring supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with suppliers daily.

-Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.

-Engaging in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.

-Making the final decision on acceptability of product.

A level 1 employee typically has 0-2 years of professional experience with the minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline

-Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System

-Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action planning

-Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening, technical writing.

-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

-Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

-Ability to travel.

Desired Skills:

-Engineering or Supplier Quality experience.

-Special Process Engineering experience

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and apply knowledge in troubleshooting technical issues and in developing/validating solutions.

-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

-SAP and/or APRISO Application experience.

-Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations

-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
