Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer-IT- Secret Clearance/ Onsite- Grand Prairie, Tx. in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: This position is for a classified system administrator with experience in system configuration and IT compliance with background cyber security, and IT compliance. This position supports multiple projects / internal customers.

Performs system administration, integration, verification and validation for computer systems and operating systems intended for support of engineering programs. Support, development, and implementation of computer systems related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users or projects to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Provide industry systems administrations techniques for existing/future engineering projects, programs or systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education.

• Active US security clearance (Interim Secret level or higher).

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, and customers' acceptance.

• Knowledge and experience with system administration of production networks including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, and/or Linux.

• Prefer Security+, or other IAT Level II/III security certification.

• Experience with Active Directory domains and/or (Linux) NIS domains.

• Ability to lift 30 lbs

Desired Skills:

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on varied OS update tools necessary to install and update (service packs, patch bundles, etc).

• Manage asset inventory and administration for IT hardware within their control.

• Responsible for establishing validation process and creating configuration profile records for each newly imaged asset.

• Validates system requirements, definition(s) and analysis to comply with installed updates prior to delivery of asset

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
