Lockheed Martin Systems Integration / Test Engineer in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description:

You will be the Precision Fires ITE Test Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control team in Dallas, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Precision Fires Test Sets to protect products, networks, and data.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Precision Fires ITE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for teaming with Cyber Engineering to perform the development and maintenance of Precision Fires Test Sets. You will develop operating plans, install software images, and perform Test Set integration, validation, and certification.

Your responsibilities will include:

•Meeting with customers and users to discuss Cyber needs, objectives, and requirements

•Developing Cyber plans and specifications for new Test Sets or modifications to existing ones

•Installing and supporting Cyber software to meet security requirements

•Generating cyber reports and assisting in audits

•Integrating, testing, and fielding test equipment, hardware, and software

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related or equivalent professional experience

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and methodologies

• Experience working with computer networks and security systems.

• Test Equipment Experience: troubleshooting, integration, validation, certification.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of programming languages/tools such as C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or Power Shell

• National Instruments: Test Stand, Lab View.

• Ability to think critically and identify risks.

• Fundamental Computer Forensics Skills

• Good communication skills.

• Experience with Test Equipment Design.

• Experienced in supporting management and customer meetings/request.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
