Lockheed Martin THAAD Project Engineer FMS MSL Coordinator in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description:
You will be the Sustainment Project Engineer for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) line of business. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve supportability, quality, and efficiency of operations for the THAAD Missile Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Project Engineer, you will be responsible for serving as the THAAD Missile FMS Liaison, providing representation, coordination, advice, and insight to FMS stakeholders and the broader Interceptor Services team. You will contribute to the development of strategic plans to improve operations and ensure timely resolution of FMS Interceptor Services issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Liaising between Interceptor Services Management and FMS Program Management teams
•Coordinating with THAAD FMS Program Managers to fulfill FMS case requirements
•Developing planning and strategy for FMS Interceptor Services work with Missile and Depot Coordinators
•Collaborating with Production Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Contracts to ensure timely processing of FMS Interceptor work
•Coordinating In-Country Interceptor Activities and evaluating the THAAD Interceptor lifecycle
•Applying obsolescence and CM analyses to foreign partner inventory and spares
•Reporting technical, schedule, and budget performance for Interceptor Services at internal and external meetings
•Providing recommendations on THAAD maintenance to FMS Partners and supporting ad-hoc requests

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an Interim Secret clearance to start.
- Experience in systems full lifecycle management across multiple Product Support disciplines, and in design, implementation, and delivery of sustainment solutions.
- Ability to apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across teams to drive implementation of solutions (including providing information that enables quick and accurate decision making for execution teams and leadership).
- Experience leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers, and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers).
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with differing goals and objectives across large geographic regions
- Highly-motivated individual with operations, logistics and supply chain experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion with little supervision.
- Excellent organizational, research and problem-solving skills as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Desired Skills:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Project management training, experience and successful track record.
- Experience with IAMD products in general and sustainment of those products specifically.
- Experience with the THAAD missile.
- Experience with depot operations sustainment principles.
- Familiar with depot operations as related to missile systems.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with suppliers and customers
- Strong Business Acumen
- Experience defining strategy
- Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization
- Demonstrated excellence at written and oral communication.
- Familiarity with Sustainment Products/Tools in general and OASAS database in particular.
- Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
