Kellanova Accounts Payable Ledger Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Join Kellanova’s Global Business Services (GBS) Source to Pay (STP) team, where we drive operational excellence, innovation, and seamless service delivery across the organization. As an Accounts Payable (AP) Ledger Specialist, you will manage critical aspects of the end-to-end STP process, ensuring financial integrity and minimizing risk while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hybrid role with 4 days a month in the office, located in Grand Rapids, MI.
Within the GBS team, the STP function plays a vital role in maintaining strong internal controls, analyzing trends, and resolving complex issues. This collaborative and high-performing team is focused on delivering quality outcomes, building strong stakeholder relationships, and achieving operational excellence.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Account Management - Manage and approve all STP-related accounts, including but not limited to Vouchered Payables and GR/IR accounts, ensuring compliance with Kellanova’s Corporate Accounting Policies.
Reconciliation Oversight - Oversee account reconciliation activities, including the evaluation of data, root-cause analysis, and resolution of aged items.
Risk and Opportunity Analysis - Proactively address financial variances by identifying risks and opportunities, developing strategies for resolution, and implementing preventative measures.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and third-party MSP partners to achieve metric targets, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
We’re Looking for Someone With
BA/BS Degree, preferably in a related field
Demonstrated experience with internal controls and account reconciliation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and advanced analysis skills
Strong financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to internal control frameworks
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused mindset
Compensation
The annual salary range is $72,600 - $95,235, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
