Leads research, design, architecture and deployment of enterprise services/applications on Docker platform in AWS and on-permises. Provides direction and guidance for the design, architecture, implementation and security of business-critical infrastructure platforms that host LFG applications. This position will provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. This position will function as a technology leader in the architecture design, planning, delivery of enterprise services both on premises and in the cloud. Leads research, design, architecture and implementation of enterprise services on Docker platform utilizing orchestration technologies such as Swarm or Kuberneties
Develops and implements DevOps platforms ( GitLab, Puppet Enterprise, Atlassian, Ansible, Jenkins, XebiaLabs) supporting infrastructure and development partners.
Designs, deploys and maintains the security of virtual infrastructure utilizing web services such as AWS or AZURE
Builds and maintains high-performance runtime frameworks, libraries, and services
Manages vulnerability analysis / remediation process for Docker enterprise images
Leads research, design, architecture and implementation of the enterprise cloud services supporting related Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and managed platforms (PaaS).
Provides direction and guidance for the design, architecture, implementation and security of business-critical infrastructure platforms that host LFG applications.
Serves as a subject matter expert to design, administer and maintain security of various infrastructure, hosting platforms, and DevOps pipelines on premises and/or in the cloud
Leads design and development of infrastructure automation (IaC) utilizing Puppet Enterprise
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in Information Technology or related field ( Minimum Required )
Docker Certified Associate ( Required )
AWS Certified Solution Architect - Associate ( Preferred )
AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional ( Preferred )
Puppet Certified Professional ( Preferred )
5 7+ Years experience in IT infrastructure administration that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure supporting large exterprise middlware / hosting data platforms. This includes design, architecture, implementation, performance and security.
Proven experience designing / deploying virtual infrastructure using AWS services (e.g. EC2, ECS, ELB, RDS, EFS, EBS, Route53 & S3 or comparable virtualization / Cloud experience)
Proven design / implementation experience: Docker CE and EE Swarm (Kubernetes)
Demonstrated experience moving applications to docker containers ( design / implementation / support )
Experience Integrating ELB with ECS container services via Auto Scaling Groups and LaunchConfig
Experience working in a DevOps environment
Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies
AWS Container Services ECS (or EKS)
AWS Cloudformation (YAML and/or JSON)
Proven Puppet EE experience deployming Infrastructure services as code (IaC)
Demonstrated experience migrating enterprise applications to microservice architecture
OS Level (RHEL7/Ubuntu/Alpine/Windows)
5 - 7+ Years experience in system design/architecture that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
