SAS/SQL Analyst

Job Description:

Responsible for performing complex analysis and reporting. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, MicroStrategy, Tableau, COGNOS, and SAS/SQL, at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of control/operational reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Analyzes portfolio trends, concerning risk, loss trends, marketing performance, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. The goal is to provide meaningful and accurate data to drive business results and mitigate risk. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. Initial role will be to primarily support QRT/PRT reporting through the use of SQL and Tableau reporting.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Superior leadership, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Strong ability to communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external partners

  • Ability to manage and shift priorities when necessary

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and either SQL, SAS, Cognos, Tableau or MicroStrategy experience
