What will you do?

A day in the life of a Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition Operations at VF looks a little like this:

You will lead the operational elements and efficiency of the company's talent acquisition function on a global scale. You will report to the Senior Director, People Services (Talent), and will be responsible for identifying and driving process optimization, data analytics, vendor management, compliance, and building stakeholder engagement within talent acquisition across multiple regions. You will initially lead one direct report and build the team over time.

  • Global Operational Strategy: Develop and implement the strategic direction for talent acquisition operations, ensuring alignment with VF Corporation's talent strategy and business objectives across all regions and markets.

  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with regional talent acquisition teams and stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment in recruitment processes, standards, and metrics. Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to drive operational excellence globally.

  • Process Standardization: Lead efforts to standardize and harmonize recruitment processes and workflows across regions, leveraging best practices and adapting to local nuances and requirements.

  • Data Analytics and Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor recruitment metrics, share insights with TA leaders, and identify opportunities for improvement on a global scale. Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into recruitment effectiveness and drive informed decision-making.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including recruitment agencies and technology providers, across different regions. Ensure consistent service delivery, negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies in all regions. Implement best practices for data privacy, diversity, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) compliance globally.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Over time, build a diverse team of talent acquisition operations professionals across multiple regions, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to drive performance and career growth.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with HR business partners, hiring managers, and senior leaders globally to understand talent needs, prioritize operational recruitment initiatives, and deliver innovative talent solutions that support business objectives.

  • External Messaging and Candidate Experience: Partner with TA and marketing teams to enhance candidate-facing content with compelling messaging to attract top talent across diverse geographies. Champion initiatives to improve the candidate experience and promote VF Corporation as an employer of choice worldwide.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 7-9 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundational skills you will need in this position are:

  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on operations, process improvement, and strategic leadership in a global context.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in leading talent acquisition operations teams in a large, global organization, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.

  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment technologies, and industry trends on a global scale.

  • Proven experience in process optimization, project management, and change management in a multi-regional environment.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and geographies.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate talent needs and develop proactive solutions that address global business challenges.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and optimizing recruitment systems and tools across different regions.

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices and global workforce management.

Location: This position is based at VF Corporation's headquarters in Denver, Colorado, with the flexibility for remote work arrangements as needed. Travel to regional offices and other locations may be required based on business needs.

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.

  • Relevant certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or CIR strongly desired.

Hiring Range :

$106,272.00 USD - $132,840.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
