What You Will Be Doing

As a Business Development & Proposal Analyst at Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC, you will be instrumental in driving business growth through strategic proposal development. You will collaborate with various departments and levels of the organization to compile competitive proposals that meet client requirements. Your responsibilities include analyzing solicitation requirements, developing cost models, and gathering essential data. You will also participate in strategy meetings and ensure all submissions comply with company policies. This role offers a unique opportunity to see the direct impact of your work on new business pursuits and the success of Lockheed Martin's legendary aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and identify key technical, management, and pricing requirements.

- Create accurate cost models based on historical data.

- Collect cost, scheduling, and performance elements from various departments.

- Participate in strategy meetings, proposal kick-offs, and reviews.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures throughout the proposal process.

- Provide regular updates on proposal metrics and issues to management.

- Use standard tools to implement initiatives that enhance proposal processes.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college, 2 years experience with an Associate Degree, or 4 years experience in the absence of a Degree

- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Experience with presentations or publicly speaking.

Desired Skills:

-Experience with Excel pivot Tables and macro VBA coding.

-Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and to aggressive deadlines.

-Effective summarizing of complex data to influence executive decision making.

-Prior business development or proposal experience.

-Familiarity with government and international contract execution / FAR requirements.

-Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing and shifting priorities.

-Interest or experience in aviation.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
