You will be the APG Team Lead for the F-16 Depot. Our team is responsible for the modification of F-16 aircraft.

What You Will Be Doing

As the APG Lead you will be responsible for providing status of work documents and work accomplished in your work area. You will be the intermediary between the modification crew and the Depot supervisor while assisting other mechanics with day-to-day activities. The APG Lead will be responsible for the duties listed below:

-Ensure mechanics have all required paperwork and equipment to perform tasks

-Open/Close toolboxes by verifying accurate inventory of tools and documenting applicable logs

-Ensure team members have properly put away tools, parts and consumables at end of shift

-Assist supervisors with product discipline, housekeeping, HAZMAT accountability and 6S lean manufacturing initiatives/compliance.

-Ensure mechanics are trained and certified on tasks assigned

The Lead is responsible for instilling product disciplines to align with Imperatives of Safety, Quality Schedule & Cost which include but not limited too; fall protection, critical moves and crane lifts, use & disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), material handling and storage of staged and work-in-process (WIP) parts, chemical control and labeling, clean as you go, housekeeping, Tool & FOD controls.

The F-16 APG Lead will be required to interface with multiple functional organizations, in addition to the area supervisor to resolve issues or constraints in the aircraft modification environment.

Basic Qualifications:

8 years of aircraft maintenance experience with a minimum of 4 years of F-16 APG maintenance experience.

Desired Skills:

4 years of experience in F-16 modifications and/or phase docks.

Experience with SAP, SOLUMINA, and Microsoft Office Products

Experience reading and interpreting

engineering drawings and specifications to

provide technical guidance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
