The Senior Brand Manager – Adult & Masterbrand is responsible for strategically and aggressively building our adult business and brand across the entire adult portfolio, including Immune, Cough, Sleep, and Sinus as well as any new adult categories the brand enters. In addition, this role will spearhead our Masterbrand efforts to drive awareness and consideration for the brand across all age groups and categories.
The Senior Brand Manager will report to the Director of Consumer Marketing at Zarbee’s and develop and manage one ABM. This highly visible role requires a talented marketing leader that can effectively act as the hub/“GM” for the Adult Franchise within the organization and can master the ability to activate the business and brand across a portfolio of categories, not only via “consumer efforts”, but by maximizing medical professional outreach and retail activation to drive both short term business impact and long term competitive advantage.
Specifically, the Senior Brand Manager – Adult Franchise will:
• Develop, execute, continually monitor ROI and optimize annual marketing plans for the Adult segment with excellence, bringing along all key stakeholders across all levels of organization to both:
a. Grow Brand Funneli. Continue to increase brand awareness, purchase and loyalty in line with brand funnel objectives across the Adult segments of the business. ii. Ensure Zarbee’s continues to own the key brand attributes considered critical to long term brand health.
b. Drive Sharei. Grow share across the Adult segments to ensure both short term achievement of financial goals and that key strategic brand imperatives are met.
• Deliver results while helping build the organization by effectively growing one direct report (ABM) and managing the cross functional team and agencies/marketing service providers. Specifically, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for:
o Driving short term sales of the Adult segment within the fiscal year, in line with the overall sales target for the brand by
o Proactively collaborating with Sales and Product Marketing to set the plans that will allow the Adult segment to deliver aggressive top line growth over the next 18-24 months.
o Influencing the longer-term vision for the Adult segment of the business, in line with the long term brand strategy and vision, by continually staying up to date on the latest consumer, shopper insights as well as in-market intelligence.
• Effectively develop, coach and manage an ABM to become a strategic, highly efficient contributor in driving both the business as well as team culture.
• Develop a holistic (multi-channel and touchpoint), multiyear “Masterbrand” strategy and execution to drive overall brand awareness and consideration, independent of line of business.
A BA/BSC degree is required. MBA strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing and or sales experience is required.
