What Transportation Coordinator contributes to Cardinal Health

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for shipments tracking and visibility across functional teams.

  • Maintain department documentation in compliance with regulatory agencies (Customs, FDA and Hacienda).

  • Create transactions in ERP.

  • Maintain files updated and according to record keeping guidelines.

  • Interact in a daily basis with suppliers and drivers to track inventory in transit.

  • Coordinate unload plans with Operations and Transportation Teams.

  • Send clearances, documentation, and 214 to facilitate the receipt process for both RX and MQ departments.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience is preferred.

  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in related field.

  • Experience in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) is preferred.

  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English written is required.

  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).
