As the Currency Management CoE we have a global mission to protect our financial results related to impacts from currency fluctuations. We provide support, analysis, consolidation and forecasts on correlated financials of Companies (MRCs) on a worldwide basis. We also deliver strategic value providing Finance Hedging activities and support to the various MRCs to reduce the volatility linked to currency impacts.
We belong to the PIC (Principal, Inventory & Costing) CoE-Organization within the Global Finance-Supply-Chain of Johnson&Johnson MedTech.
We are looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst - Currency Management CoE (f/m/d)
to strengthen our team of Exposure Managers who provide high valuable support to all the HMT Sourcing MRC`s in J&J MedTech. Primary location for this role will be Zuchwil (Switzerland) or alternatively any of the PIC CoE locations: Diegem (Belgium), Cork (Ireland), Guaynabo (Puerto Rico) or Zug (Switzerland)

This role provides an excellent opportunity for Finance Talents who have an interest in pursuing or gaining experience in FX (Foreign Currency) as well as supporting and enhancing global consolidation and analysis of FX impacts. Cross-functional and cross-country partnering with other global teams and individual Business Partners - with a strong focus on currency management.
Since hedging/currency touches upon a lot of various processes, insights can be gained on the supply chain processes across various franchises and regions within J&J MedTech. We practice teamwork and strong collaboration within our diverse team across several J&J Campuses and welcome an improvement-mindset. Alteryx, Power BI, RPA and TM1 are tools which help us to continuously improve our processes and deliver operational excellence in everything we do. This position involves a high degree of business exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing improvement, streamlining and simplification of processes aiming on operational excellence and onboarding activities on a global level!
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Management of Foreign Currency:
Own the E2E (End-to-End) process for collecting, consolidating and analyzing actuals and forecasts related to FX-impacts for multiple MRC`s supported globally
Full responsibility for timely, accurate and compliant execution of hedging activities and hedge accounting
Provide insights and finance support to manager, sourcing and supply chain business partners, FP&A- and Global-Service teams
Implement standard methodologies and ensure full usage of the tools/systems to drive efficiencies as well as proactively identify and implement productivity improvements (KAIZEN)
Reporting and forecasting of currency related performance indicators, improving them in collaboration with your Business Partners on a continuous basis
Business Analysis and Support:
Maintain strong partnership with business partners to drive value and achieve business and financial targets via improving forecast accuracy and FX-impacts as e.g. Hedge-Effectiveness
Delivery and analysis of currency forecasting assessment and quantifying risks and opportunities related to currency fluctuations for the business
Conduct regular Reviews, lead training to educate partners about currency, hedging and maintain educational materials
Project work
Automation of processes via RPA (robotics), Alteryx, Power BI
Further streamline, simplify and optimize processes, calculations and reporting on an ongoing basis
Provide input of currency related impact to Supply Chain Projects
Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Finance or Economics with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certifications are a plus.
Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft packages, SAP FI/CO, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance framework and controls; Advanced Excel & Office 365 skills
Strong technical & analytical skills, experience working with complex financial data structures and data visualization tools. Preferred Analytics/Business Intelligence tools: TM1, Alteryx, Power BI
Strong communicator with business-partnering skills as well the ability to work independently and to collaborate in a virtual environment across teams in multiple sectors and regions to meet the future needs of the business
A “can-do”-attitude and strong improvement mindset; contributing new ideas and out-of-the-box-thinking; ability to challenge, improve and optimize current processes; hands on mentality; experience and demonstrated success in managing projects & processes
Critical sense of urgency and able to take appropriate action, prioritizing and managing complexity
Knowledge of hedge accounting is a plus
High confidence in English, other languages advantage
