Job Description

General Manager

We, Cohenterprises, Inc., are looking for a dedicated and committed General Manager to lead and manage our hotel operations. You will play a key role in ensuring excellent guest experiences, achieving operational excellence, and driving financial success.

What will you do?

Provide dynamic leadership to the hotel by mentoring Department Heads and their teams.

Ensure the hotel's operations align with the brand standards and company objectives.

Manage financial performance, including budget development and monitoring.

Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.

Oversee employee engagement, training programs, and compliance with labor laws.

Implement sales, revenue management, and marketing initiatives to meet goals.

Analyze key performance metrics, identify variances, and initiate corrective actions.

Oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance with local and federal regulations.

Engage with the community, build strong relationships with clients, and represent the hotel positively.

Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and team development.

Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high service standards.

About you:

Experience — Minimum of 5 years in hotel management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success in financial management, team leadership, and operational excellence. Familiarity with hospitality standards, revenue management, and marketing strategies is essential.

Education — A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
