The Work:
The Test Engineer (TE) Skill Level 3, within the Offensive Cyber development efforts, analyzes requirements and develops evaluation and test plans, conducts data collection and analysis, and reports status and results. They support the development of government test and evaluation documentation and work with other test organizations to integrate T&E programs. The key responsibilities of this role include assisting with test planning and execution, conducting performance analysis and risk assessment, and developing and applying modeling and simulation for T&E. Additionally, the Test Engineer analyzes performance data and estimates confidence and performance, plans and executes data collection and testing, and coordinates with systems engineering and program management to inform evaluation planning.
The Test Engineer must also assess operational environments and prioritize T&E objectives, as well as design surveys for evaluation of subject matter expert input and user assessments. To perform these tasks, the Test Engineer must possess technical skills such as knowledge of government test and evaluation concepts, engineering, acquisition, and operations activities, modeling and simulation, data analysis and management, test planning and execution, and risk assessment and mitigation. Overall, the Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the success of Offensive Cyber Missions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active US security clearance with a polygraph
• 8 years overall experience
• Bachelor of Science in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
• 8+ years in conducting both component and system integration level testing on complex software products
• Experience to develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
Desired Skills:
• Experience testing CNO tools and capabilities
• Experience with Government test and evaluation concepts related to acquisition operations
• Experience with applying statistical analysis to characterize confidence in performance estimates
• Experience developing and executing test and evaluation plans
• Experience assessing Offensive Cyber operational environments
• Experience working in integrated product teams and/ or Integrated Test Teams

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
