The Role at a Glance

In this role you will provide support to clinical operations by requesting/retrieving medical records from health care providers and processing physician file preparation/assembly, records scan requests, and medical invoices for payment. You will follow-up with health care providers as needed to inquire on the status of records requests to ensure timely handling.

What you'll be doing

  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Delivers highly routine work and provides general information, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.

  • Performs basic task/transactions related to common programs and services by acquiring core knowledge required for the role.

  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards. Works overtime as needed.

  • Meets or exceeds time service standards for records and/or referral requests

  • Effectively manages assigned caseload and achieves department productivity goals

  • Meets or exceeds all telephone service commitments and productivity standard for invoice handling as measured through observations/audits

  • Documents all referrals and invoices accurately in administration system

  • Replies to all customer service inquiries/voicemails in accordance with department time service standards

  • Completes all rush records requests same day in accordance with department time service standards

  • Resolves customer or client escalations with support from management as needed

  • Completes additional work assignments as needed

What we’re looking for

Must have:

  • High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. (Minimum Required)

Level: N1-1

Pay Range: $17.50

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
