Job Purpose and Impact
The Warehouse Operator Lead will perform assigned lead activities, execute warehouse tasks and operate warehouse equipment per warehouse documentation, occasional guidance and an in-depth understanding of warehouse processes and procedures and support others. In this role you will support efficient and safe operations.

Key Accountabilities
Assisting with training, reviewing and implementation of programs.
Making decisions about shipping/ receiving including responsibility and accountability in supervisor’s absence
Accountable of delivering instructions to the crew
Communicating with all levels of the organization
Understanding, adhering and follow to all safety rules and regulations as well as reporting all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Leads work doing a variety of tasks such as operating computerized labeling and scale systems, operating forklifts, high reach equipment, pallet jacks, loading / unloading trailers, communicating with truck drivers, conducting safety checks of trailers, operate tools to ensure compliance across all areas of the warehouse.
Leads will perform PPE checks, assist with the new hire Ramp-In Process, help teach employees in the Warehouse Department how to properly utilize tools including box knives, knives, temperature (I/R) Guns, and thermometers.
Understanding and adhering to all safety, food safety and HR rules and regulations while working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by powered industrial trucks.
Possess basic understanding of the tasks being performed by warehouse employees and demonstrate a history of safe mobile equipment operation.
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights.
Standing for long periods of time, the use of stairs, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility.
This position requires the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Basic computer skills
Forklift experience
At least 1 year of experience in production related work
Prior experience leading diverse teams in an industrial or warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with inventory systems
