Job Summary:
The Healthcare Industries Material Site (HIMS) plant in Hemlock, MI has an exciting opportunity for Over Mold Assembly (OMA) Operators.
Our team is looking for top caliber, technically capable operators who are focused on safety, attention to detail, embrace change, make informed decisions, possess self-confidence and leadership skills and are lifelong learners.
Job Details:
These positions have a minimum starting hourly rate of $21 per hour.
Potential for overtime opportunities
Eligible for an additional $1 per hour if assigned to a role that covers midnight shift and $2 per hour if assigned to a role that covers afternoon shift.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Operating process related equipment and plant process control systems in a safe, environmentally responsible manner.
Optimizing plant performance by monitoring process equipment and conditions using information systems including: temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, costs, yield, environmental health and safety, production rates, etc.
Adjusting control systems and manually operated equipment based on process and lab data.
Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
Identifying opportunities for improvement and implement improvements when appropriate
Performing daily tasks efficiently using the appropriate computer tools and software
Ensuring operational activities and process performance are aligned with plant and business goals.
Completing individual duties with a high degree of dedication to safety and environmental stewardship.
Education & Experience:
Required: (must possess one or more of the following):
High School Diploma/GED equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Other requirements:
Be willing and able to work all applicable shifts on a rotating basis including weekends and holidays and work overtime when needed
Be able to pass a functional physical testing and be able to use standard safety equipment
Be able to lift 50 lbs, lift hoses, bolt flanges, and operate valves and similar equipment routinely
Communicate effectively across a diverse work group
Follow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation
Perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must have a current, valid, US drivers license
Pass a drug screen if offer is received and accepted
Preferred:
- Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred
