We are looking for an experienced IT Program Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering support for systems monitoring and applications management services that provide systems alerts, including monitoring for enterprise system performance and availability and providing guidance and engineering for upgrades, systems modifications, and updates. The functional area also provides operational support for applications deployed across the sponsor's enterprise, including release management configuration management and data analysis. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience providing top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

The right candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' of work experience. A Bachelor's or Master s Degree are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following...

  • Ability to capture, document and track new requirements

  • Ability to handle various responsibilities such as planning, scheduling and coordinating all areas of a project.

  • Ability to work with any of the agile modules

  • Present status reports of projects

  • Work with other team members and explain to them using the agile methods

  • Ability to help develop and implement agile projects

  • Assist in team development by removing road-blocks, mentoring team members.

  • Ability to improve capacity for project work using Agile methods

  • Promote the empowerment of the team by ensuring team members are fully engaged

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

  • Excellent leadership skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience as a project manager

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with mission customer.

  • Ability to multitask and work multiple projects simultaneously

  • Understanding of sponsor service request tracking systems, utilizing a mix of Jira, Confluence and Service Now

  • PMP Certification

  • Scrum Master Certification

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
