We are looking for strong Expert level Software Engineer with Java development, micro-services, and Angular experience.

Any migration experience is a plus, as we are eventually transitioning from Ruby-on-Rails to Java. No ruby experience required but helpful.

System is deployed in the Cloud, so any Cloud experience is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver a new state of the art portal that manages customer requirements in addition to maintaining the existing portal. This new portal will be written in Java using a micro-service architecture, role based access control, and an Angular front-end in a CI/CD/SecDevOps/Agile environment.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Must have 5-7 years programming experience in Java

  • Experience with micros-services and Angular

  • Software Integration, defect management, and remediation

  • Software maintenance and enhancements to existing systems and platforms

  • Must be a self-starter that can handle complex projects

  • Ability to serve as part of a software development team to develop a new portal and assist in maintaining the existing portal

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Any experience with Ruby is a huge plus, but not Required

  • Experience operating in a CI/CD/SecDevOps/Agile environment

  • Any experience with Ruby is a plus, but not Required

  • Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IoC)

  • Cloud design for software, implementation, and configuration

  • Security Development Operations (SecDevOps)

  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
