The Hershey Company Manager, DME / HCI Finance in Hershey, Pennsylvania
Location: Hershey, PA * Work Location: This role can potentially support a remote candidate; however, local candidates are strongly preferred. * Reports to: Sr. Director, Commercial Finance Platform & CMG * Department: Holistic Commercial Investments * Summary of Role: This position will provide financial leadership and guidance around DME (Direct Marketing Expense) planning & forecasting, serve as the finance lead for holistic commercial investment analysis, and support process standardization and simplification. * Role Responsibilities: * Financial Analysis & P&L Implications– Provides analysis and commentary around DME spend and implication of expenditure throughout the P&L * Data Analysis – Support marketing team by understanding marketing spend and driving effective organizational resource allocation that optimizes performance * Forecasting & Planning – Serve as the finance lead in supporting the marketing organization in creation of annual and strategic plans and initiatives * Serve as the finance lead for holistic commercial investment capability building across all commercial investments * Special Projects – Special projects as assigned * Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities: * 7+ years of business experience, including accounting, finance, FP&A and cross-functional business support. * Knowledge of financial concepts & reporting * Ability to analyze & integrate multiple data sources into a useful format. Identifies issues/opportunities and assists in solution finding process. * Effective communicator, ability to lead and facilitate small group meetings. Understanding of Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements*: * Education – o BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or Equivalent .
