Job Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania This position has a strong preidentified candidate. * Summary:* This role is a hybrid position that encompasses aspects of the Plant Asset Data Integration & Intelligence Leader as well as the Associate Systems Specialist. This position will champion the integration and implementation of OSI PI AF (Asset Framework) at the Reese Chocolate Processing Facility (“Project Sunday”). Individual will support the development of digital models for the plants process equipment, support the open platform communications software interfaces between Rockwell and Siemens PLCs as well as collaborate with other Hershey Plants for best practices and template development. This individual will lead the training, support, and development of PI for the Plant Process and Reliability Engineers to gain operational intelligence, drive improvement, and cost savings. This individual will support the Hershey Service Desk (which is the primary contact for non-urgent issues) with onsite needs as well as urgent hardware and software support. This individual shall act as the liaison for plant personnel in resolving hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include end user hardware and software support for Windows PC’s, printers, wired and wireless network equipment, time clocks, bar code systems, IP phone system, paging system, and any other IS related work as required by manager. * Responsibilities:* Plant Asset Data Integration * Collaborate with plant reliability, process, and quality leads to specify required machine data inputs and output data tags required to support the plants condition-based monitoring program. * Prepare internal maintenance Requests or Plant capital project requests to enable required machine data integration. * Collaborate with Corporate Engineering during capital project design, FAT, and commissioning to ensure that Machine Data Integration Engineering standards are followed and required Asset data is requested, delivered and validated. * Deploy, configure, maintain, and support plant Machine Data Acquisition Interfaces in compliance with Hershey Industry 4.0 Open Data Integration Engineering standards. Plant Asset Intelligence * Collaborate with corporate Manufacturing Pillar Leads and Plant process, reliability, and quality leads to leverage the OSI Soft PI System to build of the plants Asset Intelligence solutions. * Fully leverage the PI System to collect, store, contextualize, analyze, monitor, and deliver the plants PI AF Asset Hierarchies. * Provide consulting support and coaching to Plant PI Clients for the configuration of PI Vision, PI DataLink dashboard and reports to enable real time visibility of equipment health and process and quality performance. Data Analytics * Configure required mathematical functions, calculations and statistics utilizing PI AF Formulas, Totalizers, Time Series Data Functions and Analytics to create PI AF calculated Data tags and Attributes, Event Frames, Rules, Notification and Algorithms Plant Supply Chain/Manufacturing Solutions Platform Data Integration * Collaborate with the corporate Asset Intelligence Solutions Pillar Lead to define functional data integrations requirements for exchange of data with ISA-95 Standards * Specify required master data and specific planning, materials, recipe, human resources, production, quality, and maintenance data and business transaction requirements. * Collaborate with IT SC Solutions Managers and Middle Ware developers to define targets source data tables, data fields, data formats, data transformations and transaction triggers/update frequencies. * Configure, administrate, maintain, and support PI Data Access Services * Maintain OPC Data Access * Maintain SOA: Service-oriented architecture Data Access Plant PI Asset Frame Work Configuration & Development * Leverage Hershey Asset Integration and Intelligence standards, best practices, and core PI AF Asset Element Templates to configure, maintain and continuously improve the plant PI AF Asset Elements for physical assets deployed at the plant site. * Configure plant PI AF System to collect, store, analyze, monitor, and deliver both real time and historical asset status, state, condition, and performance information. * Utilize the full suite of PI System Access Tools and PI Integrator for Business Intelligence to deliver PI AF Element data to PI Clients, Enterprise BI clients and External Software platforms and solutions. Plant Supply Chain/Manufacturing Solutions Platform Data Integration * Configure, administrate, maintain, and support PI Data Access Services End User Support * Respond to plant user support needs as assigned by the Hershey Service Desk process. This includes PC software and hardware, printers, WinSPC, Barcode systems, LPR, PI, AIM, MPS, LMS, and timeclocks. Desktop/Laptop System Installation and Maintenance * Install software and install new PC’s, coordinate requests for new PC’s, provide PC hardware and software troubleshooting and repairs. Install new software when required by corporate projects. Maintain current list of all IS related enterprise assets. * Support Corporate IS Projects and Upgrades * Work with corporate and local plant staff on implementation of corporate driven hardware, software, and network infrastructure projects.
