Sr. Analyst, Customer Supply Chain * Role Summary:* The Sr. Analyst, Customer Supply Chain will coordinate key supply chain activities with a focus on delivering measurable results and interaction with key supply chain decision makers for assigned convenience customer(s). They will align supply chain tactical and strategic imperatives to drive supply chain improvements and cost to serve savings. This individual will need a strong sense of supply chain partnership with distributors, and people skills that promote positive engagement across the business. * Job Responsibilities:* * Act as the primary supply chain partner within the convenience channel by leveraging relationship management to identify, develop and execute timely replenishment and planning actions and insights for all promotions, seasons, and planogram changes for key downstream retailers. o Communication of promotion items and quantities with proper lead time o Create and execute seasonal push-pull strategies for everyday items and forecasting and management of new and deleted items o Positively impact distributor inventory/retail in-stock levels and sales by implementing changes derived from analysis of item selling patterns and alignment from the customer o Facilitate planning and execution with the customer(s), Hershey sales and the Hershey supply chain * Develop systematic processes and exception-based tools to deliver reliable logistics and execution results as measured by fill rates, on time delivery, inventory levels, service levels to retail partners, and waste for assigned customer(s). Formulate and execute special warehousing, transportation, and packaging initiatives as needed based on company directives * Maximize selling opportunities. Where appropriate, utilize retail data and insights to drive incremental sales, including on shelf availability, promotion and seasonal execution, and new item launches. Through detailed understanding of customer(s) forecasts and distribution network configuration and practices, assist Sales and Category Strategy and Insights to promote proper volume allocation and timing of inventory * Develop and maintain a focus on customer’s strategic direction in order to educate and prepare internal stakeholders and actively participate in strategic programs when there is a demonstrated benefit to the total supply chain * Experience & Education:* * Bachelor’s degree required – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field * At least 3 years progressive experience in Supply Chain or related function * Qualifications:* * Enterprise mindset – understand complex interaction of processes, information systems, and organizations * Disposition to engage with customer at all levels of their organization (replenishment analyst to SVP) * Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship management skills * Strong communication skills – effectively express ideas both verbally and in writing, adapt communication style to different audiences and convey information clearly and concisely * Demonstrated ability to lead projects with minimal supervision * Data analysis – ability to collect, clean and interpret large datasets to generate insights and drive decision-making * Ability to create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and customer partners at all levels * Knowledge in SAP S4 systems and tools, PowerBI and Alteryx The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
