What does this role look like?
As a Global Supply Chain Category Management Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for a division of the the Space Business Area Procurement Team, focused on Program Material Management, supporting Space Programs throughout the Program lifecycle.
In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
• Your team will be responsible for collaborating with all Space Programs, all of Enterprise Operations Supply Chain, in order to develop procurement strategies and material management plans for each program, including use of small business or international suppliers, identify and manage material risks and opportunities, problem solve supplier issues, expedite material, develop negotiation strategies, and more.
• Your team will be responsible for the procurement and performance of procurement of material through the entire program lifecycle.
• You will also be responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions, etc.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/combined education,
• Professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management)
• Formal Leadership Experience managing large, complex teams
• Experience developing relationships with others to drive on time delivery, process improvements, or other key metric performance improvements
• Experience delivering results
• You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Experience with Lockheed Martin Programs or complex program organizations
• Experience driving performance improvement in Program Management, Subcontract Management, Material Management, or similar
• Experience in formal project management methodologies, and systems analysis tools, processes and methods
• Professional Presentation Development and Delivery experience
• Program Customer (Negotiation) Experience
• Familiarity with Government Procurement processes and regulations; to include FAR & DFAR
• Experience TINA compliant (Truth in Negotiations Act)
• Program and Earned value Management Experience
• Experience with the procurement process, and the impact of executed decisions
• Familiarity with Space or EO procurement, quality, or manufacturing systems or processes
• Experience in formal project management methodologies, and systems analysis tools, processes and methods
• Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas
• Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
