BAE Systems Fuze MOD Project Technical Manager in Hill AFB, Utah

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a Planning and Assessment Technical Manager with a Project/Program Management background to join our team for an exciting opportunity transitioning the Mk21 Fuze Mod program into production and sustainment. The Project Manager will assist the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) ICBM Fuze Mod Program Office (PO) to coordinate nuclear weapon projects and their associated requirements detailed in Department of Energy (DoE), Department of Defense (DoD), and United States Air Force (USAF) directives. The Project Manager is a multifaceted position that ensures acquisition/production program milestones and objectives are anticipated, required program events are scheduled and program related tasks are properly coordinated.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead task and project reporting for the Mk21 Fuze Mod PO, specifically Planning and Analysis Subgroup tasks including but not limited to developing and managing program reviews, plans, procedures, and other related tasks.

  • Assist the Fuze Mod PO with program analysis, requirements review, risk management, production status and program management.

  • Integrate program risks, schedules and milestones. Production responsibilities also include coordination with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), update roadmap entries, and transition to a digital engineering environment integrating between the MM III weapon system and Sentinel weapon system.

  • Develop briefings, program plans, spreadsheets, and performance measures for technical programs in reaction to short suspense demands with minimal input from managers or customers.

  • Coordinate support for integrated engineering-level assessments, production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution processes over the life cycle of the ICBM program to identify and mitigate design, production, and test deficiencies that could impact mission assurance.#ASFS

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 7 or more years progressive project management experience.

  • Familiarity with military technology and technical data.

  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) commensurate with expected mid to senior level civilian and military participants from various US Government agencies.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative and organize daily tasks with minimal or no supervision.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s or Master s Degree.

  • Current U.S. Government security clearance (Secret).

  • Department of Defense Acquisition experience.

  • OKR Management.

  • Task planning/management utilizing Confluence and Jira.

  • Project management of transitioning IT environments and processes.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89820 - $152730

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
