Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Program Manager I for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities.
Tell me about this job. This person support the Product Support Branch lead for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and includes integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders. This is a supervisory position.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project/program management (8 years with advanced degree).
Experience on an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I level program or similar.
Demonstrated comfort and capabilities working under stressful conditions, aggressive schedules, variable workloads, and shifting priorities.
Risk management experience; demonstrated management experience evaluating and mitigating risk at the program or enterprise level.
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in managing program cost, schedule, and/or performance.
Experience directly leading diverse teams.
Must have a current Secret security clearance or higher (adjudicated within the past 6 years) and be eligible to obtain and maintain all required Special Program accesses.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience at a System Program Office (or higher-level staff) executing/overseeing program(s) in the Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) and Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) or similar acquisition program phase.
Understanding of integration across multiple areas of an ACAT I level program.
Background and understanding of Air Force maintenance planning policy, processes and organizations.
Exceptional customer engagement, writing, and communication skills.
Experience creating presentation content for executive level meetings and conducting senior level meetings.
Strategic thinker and innovator with continuous improvement mindset.
ICBM weapon system and/or program support experience.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or Bachelors Degree.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $106654 - $181311
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
