THE WORK

Supports USAF Field Training Detachment (FTD) at Hill AFB, UT.

Schedules and leads installations, modifications, as well as common maintenance of FTD training systems within boundaries of released modification kits and guidelines established by the Trusted Facility Manual. Supports and/or coordinates verification and validation of installations and modifications to systems. Acquires and submits metrics for review, documents system anomalies and submits relative data to appropriate organizations for analysis and resolution. Collaborates with other organizations to improve operational performance and configure systems to operate within approved guidelines. Provides assistance to database administrators as needed to manage the import, export, transmittal and receipt of training records. Interfaces directly with customer and contractor personnel at the site to resolve “break/fix” issues, establish approved access to resources, and assure system services are available to support daily Academic operations. Assure compliance with all approved procedures and guidelines, and support respective audits.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Final Transferable Secret security clearance; last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last six years.

Knowledge and experience with computer hardware and software.

Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems.

Strong oral/written communication skills.

Candidate must be willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedule.

Candidate must have a current Security+ certificate or able to acquire a Security + certification within 3 months of hire date.

Desired Skills:

Previous F-35 Training Device Experience.

Proven hardware and software support experience in a training/classroom setting.

Network troubleshooting and maintenance experience.

Ability to brief/teach technical information to internal and external audiences.

Ability to lead and mentor other team members.

Currently possess a current Security + certificate.

Familiarity with the F-35 ALIS program.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
