Position Information:

  • 3rd shift hours are Sunday-Thursday 10PM- 6:30AM.

  • Benefits available on Day 1.

  • Starting pay for this position is $16 an hour +$1.50 per hour night shift premium.

Job Summary:

The Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) in Hodges, SC has an opening for a Finishing Technician on 3rd shift. In this role, you will perform finishing operations to include de-gating, shake-out, blasting, and in-process verification of parts.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • De-gating operations (requires use of grinder, saw, hammer, wedge)

  • Operator-Performed-Maintenance (OPM) on equipment

  • Table/Tumble blast machine operations

  • In-Process inspection of parts

  • Forklift operation

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 months of previous casting finishing experience or other manufacturing experience.

Top candidates will also have:

  • At least 6 months of previous casting finishing experience or other manufacturing experience.

  • Knowledge of foundry processes (melting, molding, core manufacturing, finishing), engineering and/or quality

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Good communication skills, and leadership ability

  • Attention to detail
