Job Description:

Job Summary

Develops, implements, and oversees various aviation security (AVSEC) strategic programs to safeguard UPS and facilitate global compliance with government regulations. Manages and executes compliant screening operations supported by people, processes, and technology. Develops and leverages strong relationships with government agencies, vendors, regulatory agencies, and industry associations (e.g., TSA, IATA) to help shape regulation and minimize impacts to UPS. Collaborates with regulatory agencies during visits and audits to observe and measure compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed. May provide project management, systems expertise, and analysis to support enterprise initiatives.

Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature. This expertise is typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience within a field. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a “player coach” but primary focus is individual expertise.

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $25.20/hr to $40.95/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
