In this role, you will be responsible for:
Responsible for executing learning experience strategy throughout the strategic design of learning content and programs. Oversee a team of Associate Directors, Learning Architecture, with specialization in J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Development capability areas and/or TA-expertise to effectively design and curate business learning needs.
Manage, coach and oversee a team of Associate Directors, Learning Architecture
Define, create, and drive strategy for adoption and sustainment of a learning experience strategy for J&J IM
Partner with J&J IM North America Learning Excellence Learning Business Partners (LBPs) and Strategic Planning & Operations Lead and the Associate Director of Learning Creation to understand learning demands prioritization, and provide perspective on in-house design capabilities and capacity
Sense new and emerging practices to continue to evolve learning experience solutions and innovative ideas that leverage appropriate technologies and are rooted in metrics and insights.
Develop strategy, standards, and guidance for effective learning architecture for J&J Innovative Medicine North America Learning Excellence
Oversee feedback on the overall learning experiences, preferred vendor experience / evaluation, and facilitator experience for continuous improvement
Coordinate with LBPs and business subject matter experts, in collaboration with Learning Architects and Learning Creators, to ensure content meets the needs and objectives of the business
Oversee the execution of Train-the-Training as needed to potential facilitators
Collaborate closely with Associate Director, Learning Creation to build and execute content / learning solutions
Building a high performing team culture that delivers exceptional value to our stakeholder
Stay up-to-date on the latest learning design and development trends and technologies to apply innovative and modern development tools / techniques to architect learning solutions / materials
Partner closely with Head, Learning Solutions Excellence to stay current on J&J Learn technology team to ensure learning systems support Janssen needs, work to align Janssen’s learning technologies with those of J&J Learn
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education : Bachelor’s Degree; Masters in Learning Preferred
Required:
10 years industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in people management required
Previous experience leading Learning Experience Design or Learning Technology teams required
Strong understanding of future focused L&D best practices and technologies (AI, etc.) and learning design and development required
The base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
