J&J Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Director Strategic Insights & Analytics for Medical Insights, based in Titusville NJ.

The Director of Strategic Insights and Analytics for Medical Insights will be at the forefront of integrating actionable insights and analytics for the Medical Affairs & JSA organization. This new and exciting role entails identifying opportunities & strategies for the J&J Innovative Medicine Medical teams, through market research, analytics, and engagement assessments. The individual will be responsible for shaping the overarching approach to medical insights across therapeutic areas and will serve as a transformational leader in helping to enhance medical insights and improve processes. This position will partner closely with SIA brand teams & serve as a strategic consultant to Medical Affairs and JSA leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and implement overarching strategy for Medical Insights / Engagement based on key priorities and goals

  • Lead efforts in assessing emerging trends in patient outcomes & population health across clinical stakeholders

  • Modernize medical engagement through data driven insights to increase scientific share of voice and improve patient outcomes

  • Monitor impact of medical engagement through customer perceptions, behaviors, and care gap improvement

  • Lead talent strategy, including acquisition, development, and performance management.

  • Inspire and empower the team to excel with speed, agility, and accountability.

  • Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships to uncover important needs.

  • Promote a culture based on organizational values and serve as a role model for decision-making.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k))..

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required; advanced degree is desirable.

Required:

  • Applicants must have at least 10 years of practical business experience in marketing, finance, or business analytics, as well as management consulting or related fields.

  • Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies are required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of people management experience is required in addition to a proven track record with talent development and empowering an accountable team.

  • Proven analytical skills and learning agility to coach and train colleagues across multiple functions required.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and leverage insights and analytics required.

  • Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions required.

Preferred:

  • Diversity of experience is preferred, with demonstrated learning agility to be able to move across different types of markets.

  • Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.

  • Candidates must have a broad perspective on management, a strong grasp of business knowledge, and the capacity to think strategically.

Job will require approximately 10% travel (domestic)
