The Group Product Director, Professional Promotion, Multiple Myeloma Marketing will be accountable for crafting the portfolio strategic approach across all brands with key stakeholders in the multiple myeloma space. This role will lead the development of a coordinated strategy while directing marketing activities and promotional programs to maximize the portfolio opportunity and to elevate Janssen’s leadership position within the marketplace.

The GPD, will work closely with multiple functions including Brand Marketing, Portfolio strategy and Execution, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, HECOR/Value and Real-world Evidence, Global Strategic Marketing, and Corporate Communications to effectively implement key commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead portfolio level marketing plan development and collaborate with brand leads to identify business goals and strategic imperatives and cross brand tactical plans. Other related responsibilities include the development and execution plan for creative promotional assets, agency management, budget management, and CAC/regulatory review.

  • Lead the US Multiple Myeloma co-positioning strategy and implement internal and external communication plans.

  • Develop Portfolio level HCP strategy inclusive of congress, personal and non-personal promotion.

  • Collaborate with GCSO and represent US Portfolio on GCT to provide US input on portfolio commercial initiatives and evidence generation plans for Portfolio.

  • Partner closely with US medical affairs and RW&VE to ensure integrated evidence generation plans support portfolio strategy.

  • Work closely with Commercial Insights and Strategy (CIS) team to translate data into meaningful insights that shape strategy.

  • Collaborate internally and externally to drive cross brand initiatives to educate and support external customers to ensure universal access to Standard of Care as it evolves with the introduction of novel therapies and combinations including Janssen’s MM brands.

  • Manage budget, develop metrics, and enhance data capture at portfolio level to guide future strategies.

  • Lead and Coach team to successfully meet business and development goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of overall business experience is required.

  • 5 years of pharmaceutical experience required.

  • A minimum of 3 years of strategic marketing experience is required.

  • Oncology experience especially multiple myeloma knowledge is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrate strong strategic, clinical and analytical skills with excellent overall business acuity.

  • Experience in the following critical business proficiencies: data analysis, customer/market knowledge, storytelling, marketing execution, business planning and financial acumen.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills and be able to partner and influence across functions and organizations to drive business goals.
