This Learning Manager will focus on Dermatology training by leading, designing, and implementing content for POA meetings, workshops, and biologic product launches. This includes updating, maintaining, and delivering new hire curricula, as well as addressing the ongoing clinical and customer experience training needs of Immunology Field Sales Specialists in Dermatology. Besides partnering with field leaders, marketing, and medical liaisons, this individual will also work closely with other in-house and field training managers and Field Excellence Development & Operations.

This role is located in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Content Development and Facilitation:

  • Applies innovative ways to create, refine, and transfer learning content that enhances the learning experience and on-the-job application.

  • Demonstrates a passion for training, learning, mentoring, and adopting adult learning principles to accelerate a learners’ impact with teammates and healthcare providers.

  • Leads New Hire, POA and learning sessions managers to increase the sales force’s understanding of clinical, product, marketplace, and access knowledge as well as the broader healthcare landscape and competitor trends.

  • Designs and delivers impactful learning programs that integrates technology, and diverse learning techniques to improve individuals’ clinical and access selling message delivery.

  • Provides specific and relevant feedback to learners and their supervisors, before, during and following training to increase learning support for new hires.

  • Ensures all content and materials are approved through appropriate leadership, regulatory, and HCC channels prior to use or facilitating content.

Project Management & Collaboration:

  • Optimally balances priorities of different functional partners based on factors such as launch dates, required regulatory submission timelines, or prioritized business needs

  • Utilizes and monitors project timelines, resources, and budget projections for short- and long-term high impact training programs

  • Showcases proficiency in business insight gathering, understanding the customer experience and critical interdependencies to help patients start and stay on therapy

  • Partners with vendors to develop new learning projects and content. Leads RFP process, evaluates progress, and ensures clarity on project outcomes

  • Embraces diversity and inclusion to collaborate and align with peers & support teams to bring forward innovative solutions and resolve issues

Clinical & Marketplace Expertise:

  • Develop understanding and continually enhance personal understanding of product's features, benefits, correct product application and usage and disease state, access, and Immunology product knowledge, through practical experience, training programs, and learning from key users. Able to demonstrate application/usage of products and differentiate them from competitor's products. Develop understanding of the Janssen product positioning in the marketplace as well as their features-advantages-benefits for patients and medical professionals.

  • Develops clinical fluency in all assigned disease states to equip learners to engage physicians, nurses, biocoordinators and staff in meaningful, results-driven conversations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required;

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven ability in Professional Pharmaceutical or Biotech Sales required

  • Dermatology sales experience is preferred.

  • Experience in biologic fulfillment, both SubQ and buy and bill preferred

  • Field learning advisor or Field Training Manager experience is preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Ability to learn, navigate and build innovative iPad solutions or through the Learning Management System is vital
