This hybrid role integrates headquarter-based strategic leadership (75%) with hands-on field training management (25%) to support the learning and development of the Oncology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) team. The Senior Manager leads initiatives to enhance field effectiveness, training impact, and strategic alignment, while the Field Training component focuses on training development, delivery, and facilitation to support team growth and proficiency. These percentages of split support (HQ vs. Field) may flex in accordance with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Manager Responsibilities (75%)

Strategic Project Management and Collaboration

  • Serve as the strategic lead for FRM training initiatives aligned with commercial and PECS imperatives.

  • Design, develop, and implement content and logistics for Plan of Action (POA) meetings, workshops, New Hire Training (NHT)and product launches.

  • Act as the FRM subject matter expert (SME) for Learning Excellence (LE), representing field reimbursement and market access needs across a product's lifecycle (pre-FDA approval through post-launch).

  • Partner closely with ONC PECS Strategy lead to ensure pull-through of key initiatives for FRMs.

  • Leverage LE best practices and innovative technologies to deliver exceptional training experiences.

  • Develop and implement metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Maintain and enhance new hire curricula, SOPs, and ongoing learning programs tailored to business needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including LE peers, Commercial & PECS leadership, Brand, Regulatory, and HCC stakeholders, to design and deploy impactful learning programs.

  • Partner with vendors to develop new content, manage RFP processes, and evaluate project deliverables for measurable outcomes.

  • Lead the Copy Approval Process for FRM Training Materials.

Content Development and Meeting Support

  • Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and PECS partners to identify learning opportunities and create targeted programs.

  • Lead content development for National Oncology Meetings (NOM), Plan of Action (POA) meetings, and FRM NHT.

  • Facilitate workshops and learning sessions alongside LE, marketing, and business partners.

  • Ensure all materials comply with HCC and buyer guidelines, and maintain organized, approved content within the FAAS SharePoint site.

Field Training Responsibilities (25%)

Training Development and Facilitation

  • Develop and deliver new hire and ongoing FRM training programs, focusing on reimbursement and access knowledge.

  • Facilitate FRM team member training on key systems (e.g., ARC, PAFA, Veeva/iConnect) and patient support programs (PSPs).

  • Prepare and lead learning sessions that enhance understanding of reimbursement, access strategies, and market access updates.

  • Design engaging training programs using innovative approaches and technologies to ensure high-impact learning.

Field Coaching and Engagement

  • Conduct field rides to provide coaching and support for new hires and existing team members.

  • Collaborate with Associate Directors (ADs) to identify training opportunities and offer constructive feedback.

Event and Meeting Support

  • Support POA and launch training initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Facilitate learning pull-through to reinforce key concepts post-meeting.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in reimbursement and access or strong command of concepts through field partnerships required

  • Oncology experience preferred

  • Knowledge of internal review processes and management of them preferred

  • Expertise in training facilitation, coaching, and project management preferred

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with knowledge of healthcare ecosystems preferred

  • Proven ability to design and implement innovative learning programs aligned with strategic business needs preferred.

Additional Details

  • Travel required: 25% for field coaching, national meetings, and workshops.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 120,000 to 207,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
