We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead and enhance our Web Content & Site Experiences team within the Digital Experiences Product Group for J&J Innovative Medicine North America & Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO). In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and optimize our digital portfolio and capabilities at scale across a diverse portfolio of websites and rich digital experiences to maximize relevance and value for the patients, caregivers and health care professionals we serve.

This position is located in Titusville, NJ, Horsham, PA or Toronto, Canada, and may require up to 15% travel within the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area and occasionally across North America.

Role

You will lead technology strategy for our Innovative Medicines North America & GCSO organization, partnering with business leaders, functional and enterprise teams, engineers, developers, vendors, external agencies and partners. As product manager, you will be responsible for guiding web site and service integration strategy, feature/functionality business case analysis, governance, financials, and customer experience strategy.

You will be responsible for supporting our growing business portfolio of over 300 commercial websites covering Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine brand presence across the US, Canada and GCSO. You will lead creatively to deliver & support standardized traditional website experiences at scale. You will also drive digital strategy and capabilities for personalized and dynamic website experiences utilizing our industry leading rich digital experience platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Large-Scale Portfolio and Program Management: Progressively lead the maturation of our classic and rich product portfolios. Manage demand, budgeting, resourcing, and monitoring of our most valuable products and digital capabilities. Think like an entrepreneur by finding opportunities, galvanizing support, and leading our organization.

  • Customer-Centric Innovation: Devise a customer-centric roadmap and go-to-market strategy for various branded and unbranded properties. Own the vision, prioritization, and realization of new technical features and enhancements to our experience products, including personalized and targeted content and solutions. Implement innovative strategies that align with business needs and balance technical feasibility with business value.

  • Product Lifecycle Management and Operational Excellence: Enact processes, governance, operational and communications structures to deliver with consistency, quality, compliance and speed. Measure value realization throughout the product lifecycle. Incorporate external benchmarks, critical measures, key results, product group performance, team health, and product/portfolio maturity. Champion the adoption and continuous maturation of agile methodologies across all development teams, grow best practices, implement improvements, and efficiencies across the portfolio. Cultivate a data and insights based mentality across the organization. Lead communities of practice to standardize processes, advance approaches and align opportunities for growth.

  • Design System Adoption: Drive and foster organization-wide adoption of design system to be used at scale to ensure uniformity and to unlock time and cost savings. Engage with various partners to support and train them on the design system, driving its continued improvement.

  • Organizational Change Agent: Courageously challenge the status quo. Drive consistent and effective change management practices, including training, and communications across all product teams. Collaborate across portfolio to ensure end-to-end processes are aligned. Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, Experience Design, Information Architecture, Computer Science, or a similar field. Advanced degree or relevant study preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required

  • 7 years delivering and contributing towards one or more digital products across all product life cycles.

  • 3 years leading strategy and development of targeted digital products and services with a proven history of delivering valuable outcomes for customer-facing digital properties for large organizations. Includes but not limited to: MVP definition, customer/market research, go-to-market strategies and budgeting.

  • Strong problem-solving, design thinking, communication and influencing skills, including ability to drive adoption of new thinking and approaches.

  • Consistent track record in applying data for decision-making, delivering process improvement plans, surfacing areas of opportunity and assessing performance and value delivery.

  • Deep commitment to user-centric design, encompassing UX, CX, and accessibility, underscored by strong familiarity with site architecture, design, navigation strategies, and quality assurance processes. Experience using, and updating design systems as well as familiarity with supporting tools Figma or Adobe XD.

  • Technology solution implementation experience using Agile methodologies from concept through delivery, along with continuous improvement and operations is required. Experience with agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, talent development, collaboration, and fostering diversity and inclusion.

  • Experience working with web content management, omnichannel content hub and DAM systems; familiarity with tagging, profiling and analytics is required.

  • Familiarity with modular content management, headless, and composable digital experience platforms and systems.

  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance privacy and legal guardrails and policies.

  • A drive for staying abreast of digital trends and industry advances, with a focus on continuous learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and related Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) review processes.

  • Experience with planning, developing, deploying, and operating marketing technology (MarTech) systems, and/or integrations that enhance product performance and increase the effectiveness of customer engagement.

  • Digital experience platform (DXP) experience with rich and segmented portals and systems using Adobe, Sitecore or similar.

Experience in managing large-scale web development programs within an agile framework.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550 USD.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
