We are currently seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant for the Gas Compression segment in Houston, Texas. As a Senior Strategy Consultant you will identify, evaluate and develop business cases for product and service opportunities related to the Gas Compression segment of Cat Oil & Gas.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide segment strategy leadership for Cat Oil & Gas in covering industries, regions, products, applications, and distribution needs to support new business development for the Gas Compression industry. This will include market identification, evaluation, long-term forecasting, business case development, and implementation support.

  • Travel regularly to gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, customer needs and the company position in the industry.

  • Work with internal and external business partners across the organization to identify industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to formulate strategies for business growth.

  • Develop and refine product requirements and represent the Cat Oil & Gas organization on New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs for the Gas Compression segment.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Thorough knowledge of gas compression applications and products (including natural gas engines)

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
