Job Description:

The Merchant Integration Officer serves as the technical integration specialist and solution architect for our GBAM clients and prospects. The Merchant Integration Officers primary objective is to understand our clients ecosystem, our solutions (Fiserv and BofA) and develop, implement and provide ongoing advisory to clients and prospects on how to optimally leverage and integrate our solutions. Merchant Integration Officers serve as industry experts on a variety of technology topics, align closely with the Merchant Sales, Merchant Product, vendors and broader client teams and clients. They bridge the knowledge gaps within platform configurations associated product, feature/functionality application and usability while providing critical feedback to product owners. They must understand and be able to share technical industry trends, our and our vendors strategies and effectively position products and services to drive operational efficiencies for our clients. They must strategically influence and guide decision making within the clients organization as well as prepare and submit applicable technical designs, integration plans and statements of work. They are critical partners in the completion of comprehensive RFPs. They handle a variety of client calls ranging from standard and more complex integration, design, scoping, training and end to end integrations optimization and support.

Required Skills:

  • Support new sales opportunities by architecting and delivering a full processing solution, driving revenue and managing to achievement.

  • Support cross sale opportunities by providing product overviews and working with the client to integrate properly, driving revenue, SPR and client satisfaction

  • Work with senior level associates in the fields of technology, security, marketing and knowledge sharing

  • Integrate with other teams across the franchise for client integration best practices, holistic strategies, etc.

  • Provide platform and product support to existing clients and their respective portfolios for retention and relationship strengthening

  • Provide ongoing advisory support/trusted advisory to clients to optimize their ecosystem related to our solution

  • Assist in contract renewals and pricing

  • Proficient in CashPro integration and Gateway solutions and can take the lead on demonstrating the platform’s Merchant capabilities

  • Deep understanding of a client’s commerce ecosystem and the ability to consult on ways to integrate BofAs product solutions

  • Ability to appropriately drive solutions per relationship across the merchant catalog set

  • Work across a matrixed coverage organization to achieve objectives - working with MSO, banker and TSO to uncover opportunities, advise in the best way to target prospects and close new business

  • Provide strategic guidance to help clients stay ahead of merchant trends and be committed to delivering the solutions that make commerce easier

Desired Skills:

  • Consultative sales experience with Business Banking, Large Corporate, and/or Commercial Banking clients

  • 5-10 years of Core Acquiring (Credit/Debit) industry experience

  • 5-10 years of direct sales experience

  • Expert knowledge of POS payment interfaces (standalone/integrated)

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to cultivate and strengthen client relationships with senior business and IT staff members
