Job Description
BAE Systems, Electronic Systems is currently recruiting for a Director, Supply Chain in support of ourPrecision StrikeBusiness Area. This position will oversee Supply Chain operations acrossprogram areas with staff in oursouthernNew Hampshire, Cedar Rapidsand Huntsville, ALlocations. The Precision Strike business area designs and manufactures state-of-the-art seeker systems, secure and protected navigation receivers, advanced displays, and sensor technologies that enable our customers to consistently and effectively complete a variety of missions in complex environments.
The Director of Supply Chain will lead the procurement, subcontracts, logistics, andplanning teams of the Business Area. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge ofsupply chainprocesses, a strong level of business acumen, and experience leading a team of supply chain professionals in a production environment. The Director will drive the implementation of advanced sourcing, supplier management, supply chain risk reduction and material planning strategies through the supply chain value stream from strategic capture through development and production.The successful candidate will be expected to develop progressivesupply chain approaches,to support the growth of the business, and to meet or exceed business area and functional goals and objectives. This senior position collaborates regularly with other internal senior leaders from programs, manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, finance, contracts, and externally with supplier leadership.
Accountable for the integrated supply chain management ofa staff of 60 employees, overseeing$200M in material revenues annually, the role reports to the ElectronicsSystemsSector Vice President,Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Overseeing all aspects of Business Area supply chain operations across sourcing, planning, and logistics.
Developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives, including but not limited to, inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
Elevating the capabilities of the supply chain team and its interactions with other functions to deliver on operational and financial goals.
Collaborating with supplier executive leadership to manage strategic relationships and ensure delivery of contracted requirements.
Monitoring market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to anticipate potential risks and opportunities to the business.
Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Being an engaged member of the Business Area Leadership Team, advising the team on all aspects of supply chain execution.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Related Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
10 plus years in a highly regulated manufacturing industry
Broad discipline experience in a multi-plant supply chain environment
Experience leading geographically diverse teams
Familiarity with supply chain management software and systems
Familiarity with key elements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong presentation skills, capable of briefing at all levels of the organization
Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
10 plus years experience in an Aerospace and Defense manufacturing environment
Certification in Supply Chain Management (APICS, CSCP, etc.) or Program Management
Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems
Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Existing Secret or Top Secret clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $151300 - $257200
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
