In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a projects or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
In this role, the individual will:
Be accountable for two major cross-Business Area new business captures related to Counter-C5ISRT and Electronic Warfare
Grow strategic partnerships with multiple product lines in the CEMA, FAST Labs, ECS, and C4ISR business areas to ensure strategic alignment and to maximize capability for our customers
Although this role allows for a level of autonomy, the candidate must become functionally familiar with the technology and strategy goals of adjoining product lines in order to effectively develop successful win strategies and business plans
Be accountable for managing New Business Funds (NBF) and Internal Research & Development (IRAD) funds in support of the new business pursuits
Be accountable for total IRAD execution from requirements, through development / test, DTUPC, and culminating in customer demonstrations
Be accountable capturing and then executing Customer Research & Development Agreements (CRADA) and Customer R&D (CRAD) funding in support of the new business pursuits
Demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage with customers and develop an understanding of their requirements and desired capabilities
Demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage in active customer dialogue around technical attributes and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
Make strategic decisions in a fast paced competitive environment.
Help lead in-depth reviews of competitors, developing competitive pricing analysis, and being the voice of the customer to the business capture and program teams
Provide holistic leadership while promoting a positive culture emphasizing teamwork, inclusiveness, and a fundamental respect for each person s / organizations contributions
Communicate effectively with senior BAE leadership and senior supplier partners in order to effectively solve complex challenges and keep stakeholders informed/engaged
Deliver clear and concise executive level presentations and messages to enable the leadership team to quickly assess the health and needs of the captures
Ensure long term operational success by developing and supporting both the PM function and cross-functional teams within the Product Line
Contribute to the Product Line as a member of the leadership team
Ensure that captures/CRAD/IRAD/CRADAs receive the necessary support and services from the functional organizations to achieve program objectives

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Broad knowledge of ES businesses and capabilities with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other PLs and businesses.
Capture Management: Capture manager on large, complex pursuits responsible for all aspects of the capture including customer engagements, RFI response development, and proposal management
Problem Solving Ability: Requires advanced conceptual thinking in complex and/or completely new situations.
Interpersonal Skills: Developed executive communications skills to exchange complex information.
Leadership Skills: Developing teams, coaching/mentoring future leaders, ensuring a robust talent pipeline and succession plan
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate at a high level with internal and external customers and partners, strong collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability as a customer advocate with successful resolution of customer issues.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute an entrepreneurial strategy to shape the strategic direction of a complex capture/program
Demonstrated ability to lead large groups of employees and/or teams
Demonstrated success leading large Subcontractors to the completion of complex projects
Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Code of Conduct/Ethics, Diversity, Security and culture
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead an organization through a crisis using change management skills.
Risk and Opportunity management skills at a portfolio level
Secret clearance required
Potential to obtain TS/SCI clearance required
Potential to obtain Special Access Program clearances required
Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree with 12 years of DoD and/or industry experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
DoD or industry Electronic Warfare, Counter-C5ISRT, and SIGINT domains
Air Force customer engagements
DTUPC and Design for Manufacturing experience on Design and Development program
Leading the complexity of software development, hardware development, and HW/SW integration & test
Significant Supply Chain Management experience
TS-SCI preferred
Existing SAPs preferred
Engineering degree/experience
PMP certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
