Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician with experience in soldering and assembly for our first shift, Monday - Thursday 4/10, manufacturing team. Come support various programs in Hudson N.H. s SEAS Factory using your skills in manufacturing. You will work in a dynamic manufacturing team environment that supports exciting Maritime defense Technologies.
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production assemblies by following work plans/instructions using appropriate tooling.
Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as cable assemblies, chassis, and board installations using specialized tooling.
Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
Drive continuous improvement and sustain a compliant work environment.
Torque tooling up to 50lbs.
Lifting up to 50lbs.
Long periods of sitting and or standing.
Good manual dexterity requiring the use of both hands.
Visual acuity or correctable vision, color vision.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Needs to be able to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings
Experience working with large complex builds
Ability to become solder certified to IPC-J-STD
Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Box Build Assembly Experience
IPC-J-STD Certified
Computer Literacy
Understanding requirements of Engineering Change orders and Cut In requirements
Experienced in Electronic Mechanical Assembly
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $62810 - $100540
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
